LEATHER
Leather is an organic material that develops a natural patina over time, maintaining its qualities as long as it is well cared for. Since it is a natural material, it may always present slight variations in texture and color. In addition, it tends to become softer with use, a characteristic that is not considered a defect. The beauty of the product is revealed when its softness, color and natural appearance become more pronounced as time passes. The leather used on the outside of our products is goat leather, which is why it requires more care than is usual for pieces of animal origin. To maintain its features and appearance preserved for longer, here are some basic and necessary care instructions:
-
STORAGE OF LEATHER BAGS
When purchasing one of our leather bags, it is important that it is stored with filling on the inside, so that it maintains its original shape and structure.
-
STORING LEATHER TOPS
When you purchase a leather top, we will send you a box with the item, in which the top should be placed to facilitate storage and ensure that your item will maintain its original shape. It is important to put filling inside so that the item does not deform. The best way to ensure this is to store the top in the same way it was sent. To help you, we have created the illustrations below:

GENERAL CARE
-
FRICTION
Avoid friction with rough surfaces, contact with sharp objects and other clothing and bag fittings that could damage the leather.
-
SUN EXPOSURE
Avoid exposing the pieces to the sun or any other source of extreme heat for long periods of time, as this may damage the piece and change its original color.
-
STORAGE
Store your items in places that are not exposed to sunlight or humidity. Never seal your items in plastic bags to prevent discoloration and mold. Preferably, use a cotton cover/bag. Never store leather tops in drawers or on hangers, as these practices can deform the items.
-
WATER
Our leather items should never come into contact with running water. Never expose the items to rain or excessive humidity. Any contact with water may cause irreversible damage to the product.
CLEANING
-
STAINS
Small stains can be removed using a clean, slightly damp cloth. Always make sure to clean the entire surface of the product. Never use running water, detergent, soap, oil or other similar products. For large stains, we recommend that you seek the help of a leather specialist.
-
AIR OUT
We recommend that after using our leather tops, they are placed in the box, filled with stuffing and left to air. The pieces should always be stored in a dry and shaded place.
JEWELLERY
Our jewelry is 100% handmade. Because it is produced manually with natural pigments, some pieces may present subtle variations in color, shape and weight.

GENERAL CARE
To increase the longevity of your piece, protect it from knocks and falls against hard surfaces. To maintain your piece, use only mild soap and a flannel. Avoid exposure to sunlight and the use of abrasive products/alcohol for cleaning. Always choose to store your accessories in their original packaging.
